The times the VExtenso can exceed or overlap other cells, when this if becomes a problem exists a relatively easy form to decide.

1) click on the cell with the right button and I will choose To format Cells

2) in the guide Alignment, mark the options Vertical for Superior, and mark the option To break text automatically, as the image below:

The result will be the following one, being enough to adjust to the width and height of the column, or to mesclar two or more cells:
