Tips for its spread sheet of Excel

We will place here many tips of Excel and spread sheets of models for download

To write a date for extensive
28/Ago/2008 - 09:30     Bookmark and Share

You can use the VExtenso for many finalizades, one of them to write a date for extensive. Although excel already supplies an option exhibition of “literal” date, the times become necessary to describe the date for extensive completely:

Excel
27/08/2008 - > 27 of August of 2008

to get this representation, it is enough to clicar with the right button on the cell that contains the date and to choose an adequate formatting:

What we want something is more complex, that Excel not yet is capable to carry through.

Happily we can use the VExtenso, with some modifications, and get the following one resulted:

“twenty and seven of eight and a thousand August two”

For this we will use the VExtenso two times, one for the Day, and another one for the Year, we will use the function TEXT for the name of the month, and will use the function TO ARRANGE to remove spaces blank that can appear when using the VExtenso without as the parameter (the parameter is a blank space):

=ARRUMAR (VExtenso (DAY (A1); ““)) &” of “& TEXT (A1; “MMMM”) &” of “& ARRANGING (VExtenso (YEAR (A1); ” “))

We wait that it has liked plus this tip!

If it will be able to carry through a contribution to our project we are thankful very!
